About Me
- Paul Bieber
- A member of the glass community for 36 years; starting with 9 years representing CR Laurence in the Northeast, I joined Floral Glass and Mirror, Hauppauge, NY, in 1985 as VP and General Manager. Floral grew to 3 locations and became a leader in insulating glass, tempering, lami and custom manufactured architectural glass. Floral Glass became a member of the Oldcastle Glass Family in 2004. Retiring in 2005, Elaine, my wife, and I moved from Long Island to Southwest New Hampshire to live near family. Both of our children are teachers in Washington DC. Presently, I am writing for US Glass Magazine, and consulting in the glass fabricating industry.

What's a blog anyway?
I blog is a web site where you can answer back. Our blog is hosted by US Glass Magazine. When you click to the blog, (www.usglasspaul.blogspot.com) you'll see some provocative or interesting comment, you add your comment, and we soon have a real dialogue going.
We are looking for comments, news or questions about our industry. Blogs can be short or long, funny or serious, positive or negative, blue state or red state. We won't edit unless something prejudicial is stated. No off-color jokes, and no specific advertising. We won't edit for style or content. This is everyone chance to be heard. A blog is the web's answer to the town meeting.
We hope to answer questions, help you find and remember old friends, discover new products, and share your experiences with our industry.
